Who You Are Helping
By being a part of the Lotus Ball, you are helping local survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault and past childhood family trauma. Your donations and support allow us to continue to provide counseling and 24-hour crisis care for survivors and award-winning violence prevention programs for local youth—all at no cost to those who count on us.
Last year’s 40th Anniversary Gala was an absolute blast! With more than 330 people in attendance, we raised more than $100,000 that directly supported Safe Connections’ programs. Safe Connections listened to our gala guests and has foregone our Voices Ending Violence fall fundraiser for a new beginning, the Lotus Ball. We are excited to offer this new weekend event, a positive and hope-filled night for our guests! View event photos from 2016.
