February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Please help spread the word that Safe Connections has many free education programs to help prevent Teen Dating Violence (TDV) and other free counseling to help teen victims. To teens who have experienced any form of dating violence, we offer free one-on-one counseling here at our offices as well as at schools throughout St. Louis City and County. We offer Project HART and Guys/Girls Groups using education and peer leaders to stop the violence before it starts. The information and guidance we share is based on national best practices and presented by specially trained social workers and educators who love working with teens.

Whether you realize it or not, you know teens who could really benefit from our prevention education, counseling or support groups. To book a counseling appointment for a teen (or if you are a teen in need) please call one of our assessment therapists at 314.646.7500 x118. If you want counseling provided on site at your school in St. Louis County, contact Heidi Harbin at 314.646.7500 ext. 133.

To find out more about Project HART, Guys/Girls group, or schedule workshops at your school, you can visit the program page or contact our Project HART Coordinator, Phoenix Lintner at 314.646.7500 x146.
