It started with a single phone in a small apartment answered around the clock by volunteers. The women answering were a lifeline for callers isolated and in crisis because of domestic or sexual abuse. Fifty years later, we still answer calls 24/7. Individual and group therapy and prevention education complete our safe space where violence ends and healthy relationships begin.
