Our helpline is also there for family or friends concerned about a loved one who may be struggling with issues stemming from trauma, abuse, or controlling relationships.

Our 24-Hour Crisis Helpline serves the greater St. Louis metropolitan region, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our three main purposes in serving you:
- Empathetic, emotional support. Sometimes, you just need someone to listen and believe you. We recognize you as the expert in your own situation. This is a no judgment zone.
- Safety planning. We can help you decide on your next steps when you are feeling trapped, isolated or unsafe because of the behavior of a partner or spouse or because of mental health issues stemming from past or current trauma.
- Shared resources. We listen and work to match you with the best tools and connections for you. This could be a link to our own no-cost counseling services or community resources such as medical professionals, legal professionals, shelters and more.
There is no reason too small to reach out. We meet you where you are at. Our highly trained advocates support adults and youth of all genders who have concerns about their well-being and sense of safety.

There are so many reasons including but not limited to:
- Fear for the physical or emotional safety of yourself, your children, pets, or a friend or loved one
- Information on dealing with bullying, gaslighting, or other controlling behaviors
