Prevention Education Internship
For graduate students only. Currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Become knowledgeable in the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence
- Work in schools and alternative settings with teens
- Gain skills in co-facilitating prevention education workshops such as groups
- Participate in curriculum review as well as development
- Potential to combine with Crisis Helpline or Clinical opportunities per program needs and availability

Crisis Intervention Internship
For second-year graduate students only – Two semester commitment
- Gain skills in crisis intervention for survivors of intimate partner/sexual violence
- Gain skills in safety planning and clinically informed emotional support
- Participate in resource referral and resource manual development
- Potential – in person walk-in crisis intervention

Safe Connections is currently accepting applications for two semesters starting the Summer 2026 semester, or for the Fall 2026 – Fall/Spring 2026-27 academic year. It is preferred for interns to work one calendar year with allowance for school breaks and holidays.
Development and Marketing Internship
Graduate or undergraduate students may apply. Currently accepting applications for fall 2026.
Development interns are crucial to our fundraising efforts throughout the year. As a Development and Marketing Intern, your tasks will include:
- Creating original social media content
- Supporting our young professionals group
- Grants research
- Correspondence, mail merges/mailings
- Event planning support
